Shadow Hearts’ creator is working on a new project [VIDEO]

Matsuzo Machida, who was responsible for the creation of the PlayStation 2 Shadow Hearts episodes and the 2010 PSP Arms’ Heart game, is working on something new. According to him, he would like to create a Western adaptation for this unannounced game – he cannot say more details about it at the moment. He mentioned other things as well in his interview given to the Italian website Geek Gamer.

It’s unlikely to see this project show up on Kickstarter, although he acknowledged his fellow colleagues’ usage of crowdfunding – he mentioned Yu Suzuki’s Shenmue III and Keiji Inafune’s Mighty No. 9. He also admitted that there are no plans right now to make remastered/updated versions of previous Shadow Hearts installments. Shadow Hearts III doesn’t exist at the moment, but he thinks the second game’s bad ending shouldn’t be the real conclusion. (Which means a sequel is possible later on.)
