The Italian Kunos Simulazioni has provided a decent game for PC owners at the end of 2014: Assetto Corsa is a great racing simulator, providing us a quality effort until the arrival of Project CARS. After that, it was just a question of time to announce a port to the PS4 and Xbox One, but we weren’t able to provide a release date.
However, rumors say that Assetto Corsa will launch on consoles on April 22. 505 Games – the publisher – didn’t confirm this date yet, so we would take it with a grain of salt until confirmation that this „simcade” styled title will indeed drop on consoles on that day.
It’s in development, though: you can see a first look at the console versions below. From the middle part of the video, you can even see the PS buttons shown in the menu. The framerate doesn’t look that perfect, although we can’t forget that this video is almost half a year old – since then, this might have been fixed.
We’re waiting for Assetto Corsa!
