Star Wars Battlefront‘s post-release content wasn’t fully explained even after release: DICE and Electronic Arts didn’t go into detail about any of the upcoming DLCs in the Season Pass. Instead, they just said we should expect more details soon, plus we know that Pass holders will get the new content earlier than regular players, but that’s pretty much it. However, new information emerged about another free DLC.
This is the second free DLC: the first one was the Battle of Jakku, the movie tie-in content. This is going to be followed by a new update by the end of January. It had a Portuguese video uploaded by EA Brasil, which seems to be deleted. We can tell you that the game will receive a new Tatooine map, plus Luke and Leia will receive costumes. On top of these, daily challenges, private matches and special community events will also be included in the game after installing the update.
Star Wars Battlefront launched in mid-November on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It seems that Electronic Arts’ „13 million copies to be sold by the end of March” expectation will be completed.
