PEGI’s rating revealed the MOBA‘s intentions of moving to Sony’s console. Since then, the entry has been deleted (not surprising; the release date was a placeholder February 18, yesterday), but Hi-Rez Studios are now cornered – they are working on this game.
Smite launched on PC in 2014, followed by a Xbox One release in August 2015. Seeing these two platforms, it’s no surprise that the developers want to roll their game out to Sony’s console, too. World of Tanks followed the similar steps (although Wargaming rolled it out to the previous generation’s X360 as well).
Although there’s still no official announcement of Smite coming to the PS4, it’s bound to happen from now on. You don’t just go to the Pan European Game Information and rate your game for no reason whatsoever.
All that’s left to do is to wait until Hi-Rez Studios announces their MOBA is receiving a PlayStation 4 version. Looks like this genre is slowly creeping onto the consoles nowadays.
