Project CARS can sigh in relief as there have been problems with its rival. Kunos Simulazioni’s Assetto Corsa isn’t going to launch on its originally planned day on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (April 22). Unfortunately, we have to wait a few more days for the game to launch. How much, exactly?
The new release date is June 3 in Europe and June 7 in the United States according to the publisher 505 Games. The reason for the delay is the usual „the developers need more time to improve the experience and work out the kinks with their game” train of thought according to the official statement.
Therefore, Assetto Corsa slid out to the early summer with this delay – don’t forget that Project CARS also encountered several delays before it finally launched. We can jokingly say that this delaying game is familiar to the racing simulation genre.
If Assetto Corsa is going to be as good as Project CARS was last year, we can easily forgive Kunos Simulazioni the delay.
