There has been no break for Call of Duty for a decade – we will not be without a CoD title this year either. We don’t know how Infinity Ward‘s game will be called after 2013’s Ghosts, but there has been a possible chance of it being Ghosts 2 according to GamesTM. The English magazine might be wrong.
On the PlayStation Store, a suspicious name surfaced, and you can see it for yourselves on the image below. At least Star Trek’s slogan, saying Space: the final frontier, would be fitting. We’ve heard some rumors about CoD 2016 being set in the future in the outer space, and if Infinity Ward does go down this route, the name would be fitting.
Of course, this isn’t confirmed information, so please take it with a grain of salt. Who knows, maybe this game would be the first Call of Duty not available for prev-gen? The X360 is over a decade old, and the PS3 will also hit that age this year. Isn’t it the time to leave the old hardware behind? Reaveal (sic) on Tuesday, apparently…
The next Call of Duty will apparently get unveiled by next Tuesday. Getting listed in retailers at any rate. pic.twitter.com/eYnVX5spdh
