id Software‘s shooter turns twenty years old.
MachineGames, who have been working on Wolfenstein: The New Order/The Old Blood recently (and are possibly silently developing New Colossus, the third Wolf title teased at the beginning of Bethesda’s E3 conference), brought a surprise to celebrate the Quake-birthday. They created a new episode, which you can download here!
After downloading the RAR, go to Quake‘s library, create a folder named dopa, and extract the RAR file there. Then, start a new game and launch the executable in the folder. In case you don’t own Quake, you can get it for 2.49$/€ on Steam’s Summer Sale here.
Meanwhile, the new Quake, called Quake Champions, which seems to be eSports-based, is in development for PC.
Happy 20th to Quake @idsoftware! As a gift to the fans, we created a new episode of the game https://t.co/BTgju8tLuI pic.twitter.com/gHlxBgjcBU
