False advertising? Wait, there’s even more…
Previously we wrote about how No Man’s Sky fell from Steam‘s top list to be one of the games outside the top 100. However, Hello Games‘ product hit the floor in another aspect – Steam‘s reviews are scathing, without joking.
Sean Murray‘s team ended up having one of the worst rated game on Valve‘s store front: out of 71366 reviews, the results are mostly negative, and only thirty-two percent of the users had a positive opinion about No Man’s Sky. (And going by the recent reviews, it’s „Underwhelmingly negative!”)
Add the fact that the team has effectively gone silent for two months already, and only Paul Weir, the audio chief, had a tweet about the game just recently, saying that Sean is fine, and the team is working on the next patch.
First impressions mean a lot, though – you can work on multiple patches, the memories will not be erased.
@TingerDave Sean is fine and we’re all busy on the next patch.
