Bioware might not drop the new Mass Effect game on our heads by March 2017 after all.
In this occasion, publisher Electronic Arts is not rushing the developers to hit the deadline. Blake Jörgensen, Chief Financial Officier at EA, says that if they don’t see Bioware‘s game in an acceptable form not long before its planned release, due to the publishers’ financial status, they can allow the devs more time to work on the new Mass Effect! (Seeing the recent releases of Battlefield 1, and Titanfall 2, no wonder EA is full of cash!)
However, Bioware might not require even more development time – they seem eager to get Mass Effect: Andromeda complete, plus they want the fans to sign up for the newsletter, which is called Andromeda Initiative. You can receive „critical mission information, special training opportunities, and will also be eligible for rewards upon program completion.”
Bioware also made a video for this newsletter, and it mentions 600 years. Either Andromeda plays in the 27th century, or it’s six centuries after the events of the trilogy. Eh, we’ll see on November 7, the N7 Day…
