Just as we predicted, the PlayStation Experience showed us the first gameplay of Crash.
One of the feel-good moments of this year’s E3 was Sony’s announcement of Crash Bandicoot‘s first three games being remade for the PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, we saw no gameplay during the summer (in fact, the collection had no name either), but our wish was granted at the PlayStation Experience.
The 40-dollar N. Sane Trilogy is apparently out in 2017, which means we’ll see next year what one of the flagship PlayStation exclusive franchises could offer two decades ago in a revamped format. There will be time trials in all three games, as well as a unified save system.
Crash doesn’t look that bad, making one of our fears disappear, so it all depends on gameplay if the collection becomes successful or just another failure. Can the marsupial provide us fun in 2017? Maybe.
