Valve continues to elevate further.
According to PCGamesN, yesterday at around 10:45 AM Eastern, Steam had 14.206.607 concurrent users. That’s an even higher figure than January 2’s 13.91 million result. Steam Database also confirmed this record on Twitter.
The most played game is DotA 2 (even right now): its all-time high is 1.295.114 users, and yesterday, it was only 50 thousand players away from a seven digit number. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has 442 thousand players even as we write this article, and during yesterday, it got as high as 673 thousand, which is a long way off from the 854 thousand all-time record.
Gabe Newell’s platform serves more and more people (while it also adds more, sometimes quite questionable quality games), which means there’s a large chance that Steam will hit fifteen million by the end of this year.
Steam has just hit a new record of (over) 14 million concurrent users. https://t.co/D6WDHbz0B4
