NetherRealm‘s upcoming game also offers a chance to test it before it releases.
Ed Boon, head of NetherRealm (also being co-creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise) started to tease something yesterday, but it turned out to be an announcement for an online beta test for the DC universe‘s characters. It’s confirmed, and you can sign up on the following site.
Unfortunately, we don’t know how many of us can play before the release, as well as the time frame during which the test will happen, but it’s definitely going to happen on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – you have to choose a platform during registration.
There’s also a story trailer for the game. It’s called „The Lines Are Redrawn;” friends become enemies… and an example of this statement would be Batman fighting Robin. The video is great, check it out. Who will the main bad guy be? We’re not saying anything.
Injustice 2, out on May 16 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will also have a pre-ordering bonus: Darkseid’s character will be available for those who pay up early. (And then, probably similarly to Goro in Mortal Kombat X, he will become as DLC later on…)
