Guitar Hero Live And DJ Hero Dev Team Is In New Hands

Freestyle Games changed their name and ownership as well.

Activision has sold Freestyle Games, and the new owner of this team is Ubisoft. Freestyle is now known as Ubisoft Leamington, and they will work together with the Reflections group (who formerly worked on The Division, The Crew, and Gone Home). Leamington‘s new studio head is Richard Blenkinsop, who will continue to head the Reflections team, too. (In fact, the two groups are going to be working together in several cases.)

We don’t know yet what Ubisoft Leamington is going to develop, but it’s possible that they will be related to the French company’s Nintendo Switch-assault… that is, if Vivendi doesn’t take over the company, potentially halting several plans to a grinding halt.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
