inXile will try to have a different approach to both the combat and our decisions.
Torment: Tides of Numenera, which is the spiritual successor of Planescape Torment, isn’t going to force us to fight at every possible chance. If we play our cards right, whether it be deception, stealth or simple persuasion, we don’t have to fight every possible enemy – „sometimes your decisions or even just a bad roll of the dice may mean that blood will need to be spilled,” quoting the press release.
„Torment Tides of Numenera is set one billion years in the future, using the science-fantasy setting created by pen and paper RPG luminary, Monty Cook. Players will experience a game of intricate choices and consequences with thousands of meaningful decisions that will make every playthrough unique,” also taken from the statement.
The game is out on February 28 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
