Ubisoft? Open-world adventure? You guessed it: it’s time for another open beta, as usual.
The French company has announced that Ghost Recon: Wildlands‘ open beta will launch on February 23, and it will end on February 27 (so if you are in Europe, with the exception of the last day, you can utilize the free PlayStation Plus trial during the open beta). The pre-load will start on February 20, allowing you plenty of time to download the game.
The open beta will open up two regions out of twenty-one. Aside from the closed beta’s Itacua, the snowy pastures of Montuyoc steps in as well. The latter region is the Santa Blanca drug cartel’s elite training ground, making it a challenge. If you clean up Itacua first, you will get XP and skill boosts during Montuyoc. Of course, you can play together with three friends!
If you get the retail game after the open beta and use the same Ubisoft account, you can play an extra mission called Unidad Conspiracy, revealing the ties between Unidad and Santa Blanca.
The game launches on March 7 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
