Bioware continues the new Mass Effect‘s gameplay presentation series.
The series’ first episode (which we wrote about) was about combat. The new episode describes how you can utilize the over-a-dozen skills and the 300+ upgrades, all under Biotics, Combat, or Tech. While unlocking skills, you can choose from seven profiles. Two of them are in the video: Adept and Explorer.
If you prefer Biotics, Adept will be the one you might favor, as it will provide you more bonuses: more damage, more time to use skills, which can also be leveled up to cause more havoc. Adept can give buffs under Tech and Combat as well, plus a few perks will be available, too.
You can switch between profiles – similarly to load outs – at any given time. You can mark multiple ones as favorites to select them easier. There will be four slots, and one slot will store one profile and three skills, which means you can choose from four profiles and twelve skills as favorites.
The team will be consisting of six, able-to-level-up members, each coming with three active and two passive skills. For example, Cora will be a supporting character with Biotics, while Drack will take the damage on the frontline. You can order them around to be offensive, defensive, or rally up in one place. There’s also a possibility to team up your powers with theirs, and you can do the kills in combos.
Tempest’s doctor, Lexi, will be voiced by Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer in Mass Effect: Andromeda, which will launch on March 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC!
