Another leak regarding the sequel to Shadow of Mordor, which is called differently than we thought it would be.
Let’s get used to the title of the game if the rumor is true: Middle-Earth: Shadow of War! This name was dropped by none other than Target, and, according to the French IGN, Warner Bros. Games promised an announcement for either this game or for the new Batman Arkham title on March 8.
Shadow of War, developed by Monolith, would include the Nemesis system, and it would come with a more expensive, 100-dollar Gold Edition as well, which includes:
- Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion
- Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion
- The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion
- The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion
- Gold War Chest (probably in-game items?)
- Over $125 in total value
There will be two types of expansions. Nemesis Expansions include a new Orc Tribe featuring new enemies, followers, missions, abilities, weapons, Fortress and wilderness updates, and a Mythic Gear Set. Story Expansions introduce a new campaign, playable character & abilities, side missions, enemies, allies & more.
We saved the best for the last. The game would arrive on… August 22 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One?! (Maybe PC as well.)
