The PlayStation VR Is Performing Better Than Expected

Finally! We learned exact figures about Sony’s virtual reality headset‘s sales.

Andrew House told in his interview with The New York Times that so far, 915 thousand PlayStation VRs were sold, and with that result, Sony almost reached its goal. The Japanese company set a one million target in the six-month launch window after the headset hit the stores. It arrived in mid-October and seeing how there’s still a 1.5 month left until the middle of April; the performance is excellent so far.

About the Japanese situation, House said that there are people lining up in front of stores which get restocked with the PlayStation VR headsets. The local market loves Sony, which is expected (and the same is likely going to happen with the Nintendo Switch when it launches later this week).

Still, learning about a fixed figure four and a half months (!!!) after the PlayStation VR‘s release is weird. Was Sony afraid of something? They have no reason to be worried…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
