The new Nintendo platform’s sold separately controller has an Easter egg.
Although the Nintendo Switch caused headaches for a few people due to faulty consoles, it didn’t affect everyone. Some players probably grabbed a Pro controller for their Switches as well, and it costs 70 dollars on top of the 300 for the console and 60 for a game. The Pro controller turned out to contain a hidden message.
While you can’t see it that easily on the screenshots below, the analog nub’s bottom has a small text that says „thx2 allgamefans!” which needs no more explanation.
It is a kind gesture by Nintendo because they thank the early supporters of the Switch, which launched on Friday. (And in the UK, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was beaten to the top by Horizon Zero Dawn in sales. Selling 80 thousand Switches on the first weekend was not enough for Link!)
