Koei Tecmo’s and Team Ninja’s game got its first major DLC, which got a video just the other day.
Dragon of the North is going to launch today on PlayStation 4 – if you end up investing into the otherwise decent action-RPG‘s new content, you can go to the Northern region of Japan (which explains the name of the DLC, doesn’t it?).
„This new chapter picks up after William’s valiant victory in restoring peace to Japan. In keeping with the tradition of our inspiration through Japanese history and mythology, the central character for this new chapter is based on Lord Masamune Date, the ruler of the Sendai feudal domain in the Keicho Era (about 400 years ago). In our opinion, his personality and exploits in history lend himself to become a key player to contend with in the story,” the press release says. (Trivia: he founded Sendai in 1600, and that period is when Nioh is set in historically – great research!)
The DLC got a video, which may be Japanese, but you can see what you can expect, though – it’s going to include a lot of new things from weapons to yokai. Price? 10 dollars/euros. The Season Pass costs 25.
