Some things never change. One of them is Darksiders’ art style.
…and that’s not a problem. Even though it’s not Vigil that develops Darksiders 3 with Fury as its protagonist, there’s still a sense of continuity, which never hurts. (And it also looks better than the first two games, and by that, we mean their updated re-releases, not the prev-gen originals.)
Darksiders 3 got twelve minutes of pre-alpha gameplay, courtesy of IGN First (and there will be more coming throughout May). We would have to be whipped if we said that the game doesn’t look promising: outside Fury’s whipping, we need to mention the hack’n’slash gameplay, the post-apocalyptic Earth, and – as expected – the unfinished feel of the video.
THQ Nordic plans to launch Darksiders 3 in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
