Overwatch Earned Sh*tload of Money to Activision Blizzard!

It’s hard to just write down the astonishing amount.

Activision Blizzard has published its latest financial earnings report – via Business Wire -, and as expected, Overwatch is a cash cow success. After its 30 million player base announcement, we didn’t expect the franchise to earn one billion (!) dollars, which is about 33-34 bucks per player on AVERAGE. With this result, Overwatch has become the eighth billion dollar franchise after names such as Call of Duty and Skylanders.

Blizzard got 441 million dollars in the first three months of the year, which is a whopping 50 (!) percent year-on-year increase. Hearthstone’s monthly active user base also increased (about 70 million registered players at the moment).

Not bad.
