It’s possible that 2016’s Deus Ex: Mankind Divided‘s sequel is already in development.
Jim Sterling, a popular YouTuber, has talked about the new Deus Ex title in his podcast, and he said that although a few members of the developer team was pulled (making the development slower than before), his recent information is that Adam Jensen’s story will still continue.
As the game would be published by Square Enix, we should keep an eye on the publisher to see if they end up saying a few words about the new Deus Ex at E3 (or at the Gamescom) or not. As there was no official announcement of the project yet, take it all with a grain of salt.
Just don’t flop with the marketing: Mankind Divided ended up with pre-ordering tiers, which the Internet hated, making Eidos and Square Enix delete the plan altogether…
