From June 11, the Xbox One S has a lower price tag.
Kotaku, who have since updated their article based on Microsoft’s website, reports that from today, the Xbox One S is cheaper in the United States. The Minecraft bundle remains 250 dollars, while bundles with „serious” titles, like Battlefield or Gears of War, do get the drop from 300 bucks to 250 „for a limited time only.”
That deal seems to clone Sony’s move, as they also temporarily sliced fifty dollars off the PlayStation 4 Slim to the same cost as Microsoft’s console. Let’s add that neither companies’ conferences have been held, and still, they are already going fist to fist…
…and we can potentially expect Sony deliver a price drop on the PlayStation 4 Pro after the Project Scorpio (Xbox 10 S?) reveal.
