Anthem: Is It Going To Be A Ten-Year Journey’s Start?

We have a bit of déjà vu here…

BioWare’s new game, Anthem, was Electronic Arts‘ biggest reveal at E3. While we appreciate the project, it looked quite similar to something we have seen before, and it also has a promise that the other game has touted before its launch.

History may repeat itself: with the case of Destiny, the Activision-Bungie axis also has a ten-year lifespan, and no, Patrick Söderlund, one of the Electronic Arts leaders, has told Major Nelson during a Microsoft E3 live stream that Anthem, due to launch in Fall 2018, will be the beginning of a ten-year journey.

We have come back to where we started: Electronic Arts have made a Destiny-clone via BioWare, but yesterday, we wrote about how Activision’s CEO openly admitted that the first Destiny’s plot left something to be desired.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
