Microsoft seems to be willing to clone Sony/Guerrilla’s successful formula.

MSPoweruser discovered a job listing on LinkedIn for a „lead environment artist artist for Microsoft AAA Nextgen Title, similar to Horizon Zero Dawn.” The listing was put up by G3D, which is a company specialized for sending candidates to high-profile clients, such as Sony, Activision, or Warner, as well as Microsoft, it seems.

As Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox said that there are games that won’t be out in the next 2.5-3 years, this „Horizon” project of Microsoft could very well be one of them.

However, the Redmond-based crew should start to be creative…
