The hot summer started off with these best selling games. Here’s the list first:
- Friday the 13th: The Game
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – Game of the Year Edition
- Grand Theft Auto V
- God of War III Remastered
- Battlefield 1
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Tekken 7
- Minecraft
- Rocket League
- FIFA 17
- NHL 17
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Need for Speed
- Injustice 2
- Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition
- Ratchet & Clank
- Payday 2: Crimewave Edition
- Overwatch Game of the Year Edition
- Star Wars Battlefront
In comparison to the EU top list, it’s a huge change. Crash only debuted in second place, as Jason beat him to the finish line. Tekken 7 started out in 8th place, FIFA 17 didn’t reach the top 10, and Horizon Zero Dawn is way off from its European position. Unlike Europe, there’s no PS2-PS4 game on this list (GTA: San Andreas). How will Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will fare in July?
Let’s look at the DLCs:
- Call of Duty Black Ops III: Zombies Chronicles
- Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer
- Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood
- The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited – ESO Plus
- Black Ops III – The Giant Zombies Map
- Injustice 2 Darkseid
- Battlefield 1 Premium Pass
- Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition Adventure Time Mash-up
- Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack
- Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 1
Same games in the first two place, but unlike Europe, Final Fantasy XIV claimed third position. No Injustice 2 in Europe whatsoever, while the US got no Fallout 4 or Rocket League. What a difference.
