Cyberpunk 2077 loses several of its main developers

Four CD Projekt RED employees leave the company responsible for The Witcher.

Since last September, the CD Projekt RED team has lost four of the main creators in charge of the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077, although to date the Polish company has not officially pronounced on the progress of these employees.

In response to the information posted on the LinkedIn network, the creatives who have abandoned the development of Cyberpunk 2077 are project leader Ovidiu Traian Vasilescu, level design chief Mateusz Pietkiewicz, playability producer Dereck Patterson, and veteran art Michael Stec, who had previously worked on the downloadable contents of The Witcher III.

These developers are currently active in studios such as Techland or Flying Wild Hog.
