Those who played World of Warcraft over ten years ago but abandoned it due to way too many changes, they might return to Blizzard‘s game.
First, let’s get through the announcement for the newer gamers: at BlizzCon, Blizzard announced that the MMORPG is getting a new expansion, called Battle for Azeroth, likely out in the summer next year. The seventh expansion will open up Zandalar and Kul Tiras, offer allied races, lift the level cap to 120, and much more. There’s still life in this almost 13-year-old game!
Previously, we wrote many times that Blizzard shut down the unofficial servers that illegally offered the game in its vanilla form. There’s no need for such servers anymore: Blizzard announced World of Warcraft Classic, which doesn’t have a lot revealed yet. This initiative is aimed at those players who were subscribers in 2004-2005 before the expansions and updates (and some of us were there back in the day, we’ll admit it). It was about time that this happened, Blizzard.
Blizzard also broke the Guinness World Record for the biggest gaming diorama. At BlizzCon, they made the battle between the Horde and the Alliance with over ten thousand characters! That’s something unbelievable… but it was worth it because they ended up in the book, which makes their work memorable.
