One of the rumors were confirmed, although this game wasn’t announced at the PlayStation Experience. Soul Calibur VI is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and it will launch in 2018. It will have Mitsurugi and Sophia as well.
Campo Santo’s (Firewatch) new game also got revealed: In the Valley of the Gods is going to be an adventure in Egypt, set in the 1920s. It’s going to be available from 2019. They announced the game somewhat early, and still, it already has a Steam page!
Warner Bros. and Saber Interactive announced that there’s a World War Z game adaptation in progress. Cooperative survival in New York, Jerusalem, and Moscow – the traps and the environment have to be used the best possible way so we could survive the zombies. It will launch in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Beyond Good & Evil 2‘s new developer diary revealed a few things. Although we could play the game alone, Ubisoft will recommend to play it with a few friends. Compared to the E3 work team, Michel Ancel confirmed that there are three times as many people working on the game right now, and he added that originally, he planned the franchise as a trilogy. Ubisoft announced that three games have been delayed. Far Cry 5‘s February 27 launch day was pushed to March 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Crew 2 has a tough situation: the March 21 release day was replaced by „the first half of the 2018-19 business year,” which means it could launch between April 1 and September 30. The third, unannounced game’s original launch window of the 2018-19 business year was replaced by the 2019-20 business year. What game could this be? (Our guess is Beyond Good & Evil 2…)
Techland announced a standalone PvP expansion to Dying Light – Dying Light: Bad Blood will launch in 2018, and you can already register to test the game on PC here. You’ll be dropped into a field with five other players, and the goal is to evacuate. However, a seat on the helicopter will require blood samples from the infected – backstabbing the other players could be a regular thing.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption, which could be a mixture of Shadow of the Colossus and the Souls franchise, got a release date. Hong Kong-based Dark Star Game Studios’ game will be out on April 25 on PS4, X1, and PC. Each time you’ll defeat a boss, you’ll become weaker. What a twist! (Source: PC Gamer)
