A mobile game is getting a sequel on a console: Horizon Chase Turbo, which could be looked at as an Outrun game, is going to launch next Spring on PlayStation 4 and PC, according to the developer, Aquiris. Splitscreen racing is always fun.
Dreams got 26 minutes of gameplay. We can create the dream worlds, and the tutorial will present them in a half-complete state. The two characters, Francis (attacking with a hammer) and Foxy (ranged attack) will open up in a man named Art’s dreams. The PlayStation 4-exclusive, out in 2018, looks way more complex than LittleBigPlanet.
The Forest‘s PlayStation 4 version was announced in 2004, but Endnight Games finally revealed that the title, which has been on Steam’s Early Access for a while, is going to be ported to the PlayStation 4 in 2018. The video introduces the cooperative multiplayer.
Soul Calibur VI got a ten-minute video, which has a bit of gameplay, as well as an interview with the producer, Motohiro Okubo, who confirmed that the game’s development was mostly started this year, as 2017 is the twentieth anniversary of the franchise. The game will launch next year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Flipping Death has been confirmed by the developer at the PlayStation Experience to be en route for the PlayStation 4, too, not just the Nintendo Switch. The puzzle game will launch next Spring, and it will offer to flip the world around with just one button press.
Ultizero’s Lost Soul Aside made a trailer based on the demo available at the PSX. They should have removed the logo from the center of the screen, though… regardless, the PlayStation 4 action-RPG doesn’t seem to be a weak title at the moment.
Concrete Genie, which was revealed at Paris Games Week, got a ten-minute pre-alpha gameplay video. Painting the city alive (even if it’s a weird term to use) will launch next year on PS4, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it’s delayed until 2019.
While Mega Man 11 is in development, other developers give the genre a shot: Batterystaple Games and Fire Hose Games are working on 20XX‘ PlayStation 4 port, as the PC original has been out on Steam since August. The side-scrolling platformer will launch in early 2018 on Sony’s console.
The airship battle-offering Guns of Icarus Alliance will arrive in early 2018 on PS4, according to Muse Games, and it will be a free-to-play title. The six faction ship combat will offer both PvP and PvE.
Dragon’s Crown Pro got its first English language video. Atlus’ game will keep the cross-play/cross-save functions with the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita versions in the West. The Western release is not far behind the Japanese one: Japan will get the game on February 8, followed by a Spring release window for the localized version.
Two short news for the end: Patapon Remastered launched this year. The second game will get the same treatment for PlayStation 4 next year. If you like rhythm games and you missed out on Patapon, don’t miss it this time!
The PlayStation Vita is about to get a port: the PS Vita port of Papers, Please was announced at Gamescom in 2014 (!), and, according to 3909 LLC, it will launch on December 12.
