MOVIE NEWS – While many Oscar winners might scoff at the idea of joining the MCU, a fresh rumor suggests Hollywood’s newest Academy Award recipient could be swinging into action alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.

The actress in question is none other than Anora star Mikey Madison, who defied expectations to take home the Best Actress award at the 2025 Oscars. The film itself also won Best Picture and several other major accolades. Now, industry insider Daniel Richtman claims that Madison is high on Marvel Studios’ wishlist, with speculation growing that she may be part of Spider-Man 4.

For now, everything remains speculation, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Kevin Feige and his team were eager to secure the young actress after her breakout performance. Given Marvel’s history of working with Oscar-winning actors, it makes sense that they would want to add one of the industry’s latest shining stars to their roster.

Spider-Man 4 is expected to begin filming later this year, with a 2026 release currently planned.

However, the actress might choose a different path, favoring smaller-scale films over blockbuster superhero epics. Rumors suggest she may even be in contention for the role of Black Cat in Holland’s next Spider-Man film.
