The game, which launched in late 2016, continues to expand, and another franchise might show up in Final Fantasy XV, too…
Square Enix announced that there would be a collaboration between Final Fantasy XV and Shadow of the Tomb Raider (which should be properly revealed on April 27), and IGN found a slide in the publisher’s PAX East slideshow that confirms it. Previously, we already saw (and wrote about) a collaboration with Assassin’s Creed Origins. However, we don’t know any details about the Lara-collab – „coming soon” is all we know at the moment. We’re taking a short turn to Final Fantasy XV, too. During the summer, the game’s multiplayer component, Comrades, will be split off from the base game, as it is going to become standalone. The first major update will also launch during the hot months, followed by a winter update. The bigger surprise would be the fact that Square Enix will release no less than FOUR DLC episodes for the game! Ardyn, Aranea, Luna, and Noctis will be (again) in the spotlight.
