Square Enix did not keep their word…
Indeed, that is a somewhat negative start, but that’s the truth. Square Enix revealed at the end of the Los Angeles concert for the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour that the JRPG, which was delayed a few times and was in development for several years due to a switch to Unreal Engine 4, is not going to arrive in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
„I’m sorry that we’re asking for a little more time than initially planned. Please look forward to other information, including a few trailers at E3,” Kingdom Hearts III‘s director, Tetsuya Nomura said in a tweet.
The release date was shown at the end of a trailer, but we didn’t find it on YouTube yet, so we’ll quickly say when Kingdom Hearts III is set to arrive. The game should be available from January 29, 2019, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That’s not a summer start that was rumored earlier this year.
It better not be delayed by two more months to fit into the fiscal year (which ends at the end of March).
