Soulcalibur VI will have one more single-player mode, at least based on the game’s producer’s, Motohiro Okubu’s recent statement.
“We’re preparing another major single-player mode, but I can’t say anything yet,” Okubo said in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu.”
While we don’t have more information about the new mode yet, in the latest issue of the mentioned magazine there is some interesting info. The story of the game will expand the origins of the series with additional episodes and it will take place between 1583 and 1590 (although the main part of it will start from 1586). The story will also use 2D and 3D scenes.
That’s still not too much info, but at least we don’t have to wait too much. Soul Calibur VI‘s release is very close after all, the game will release this year on October 19th, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
