Stoic Says There Will Be Life After The Banner Saga In Its World

After The Banner Saga 3 launches, the developers think they could do a thing or two with its world and setting.

Since The Banner Saga’s 2014 launch, we learned to make tough decisions in harsh situations. It will all end in July, though, as with the third The Banner Saga game, the series will end, but Stoic would gladly return to the story and the location.

Matt Rhoades, the lead designer of Stoic Studio, told DualShockers what their plans are after launching The Banner Saga 3: they’d either make a spin-off or some other kind of medium (not a game!) in their universe and making DLC is also something that they have been considering. The Banner Saga had a lot of world-building, as well as an in-depth history of its world.

Rhoades didn’t announce anything, but he expressed that Stoic is „very keen to keep The Banner Saga flame alive and to find other ways to keep telling stories in that world over time.”

The Banner Saga 3 will launch on July 24 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac, and PC.
