System Shock Reboot’s Development Is Progressing Well

Nightdive‘s July update mentions a few new things, and they were confirmed with a few screenshots.

On Kickstarter (where the project got funded), the developers released another monthly update post, where they said that they have a milestone to reach in September. With the „Adventure Alpha” that the backers will receive, they will have the Citadel ready to discover with all items, audio logs, emails and objectives in place but with no enemies, making it effectively a „zero difficulty” teaser for the game,

On the first three images, the original textures are visible with PBR rendering and lighting, and Nightdive expressed that the visuals will change. On the rest, we see some objects, where there are some improvements to be done, although we can expect the devs to do so on this front.

After the February hiatus to refocus the development to its original vision, the System Shock Reboot has been delayed to 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac.
