Another Zombies trailer also dropped for Treyarch‘s shooter.
„Relive the undead legacy with this reimagined fan-favourite Zombies experience. “Blood of the Dead” takes the classic Zombies heroes — Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo and Nikolai – on a journey to a secret laboratory beneath the iconic Alcatraz Penitentiary. Encountering a familiar enemy Hell-bent on imprisoning them for all eternity, the Primis crew quickly realise that the future predicted by the Kronorium – the future they sought to secure – is now in serious jeopardy,” the press release says about Blood of the Dead. Remember, Black Ops IIII comes with three Zombies campaigns out of the box (the other two being IX and Voyage of Despair). After the images and the trailer, we discuss the contents of this year’s Call of Duty’s Mystery Box Edition.
We don’t know the Mystery Box Edition’s price (but we do know when it will arrive: the same day as Black Ops IIII), but going by what it will have, we are sure it’s going to have a hefty price tag. Let’s see its contents:
- A copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII
- Collectable Zombies Mystery Box – Inspired by the in-game Zombies Mystery Box, it features an eerie skeleton exterior along with frightening sounds and lighting.
- Zombies Heroes FiGPiNS, featuring Scarlett Rhodes, Bruno Delacroix, Diego Necalli, and Stanton Shaw.
- 10th Anniversary Zombies Puzzle – This 1,000-piece puzzle features unique art celebrating ten years of Treyarch Zombies history.
- Dark Horse Comics Zombies Issue #1 with an exclusive cover only for the Mystery Box Edition. The comic series will unveil details about our Zombies Heroes’ backstories.
- Three Zombies lithographs commemorating Voyage of Despair, IX, and Blood of the Dead.
- A Popsocket with a skull logo.
- Collectable SteelBook, featuring unique art.
- Ten in-game Limited Edition Specialist Icons.
- Black Ops Pass (Classified, a bonus Zombies experience available at launch, four additional all-new Zombies experiences, 12 Multiplayer maps, and four exclusive Blackout characters)
- Additional bonus content.
The Primus crew will also receive limited figures, but they will be pricey: they will cost 250 dollars each! Currently, only the roughly 14″ tall Richtofen is available for pre-order.
Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII will launch on October 12 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
