A few new details were revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con.
In the story trailer, Silver Sable is first seen, and Norman Osborn is first heard. The latter hires the former and his mercenary organisation to keep New York City safe while Osborn runs his re-election campaign to be the mayor again. However, Spider-Man „will be in the way.” Of course, Peter Parker will not be alone, as Mary Jane Watson and Miles Morales will both help him (in fact, they both will be playable characters).
We also learned that the third pre-order Spider Suit is going to be the Velocity Suit, which was designed by Adi Granov, known for his comic book art, as well as film character design. This suit, along with the other two (Spider-Punk, Iron Spider), will be achievable with gameplay as well.
Seeing how Spider-Man is a PlayStation 4-exclusive, it’s not surprising that it will receive several limited edition bundles. In Europe, we’re going to get both a PlayStation 4 Pro and a PlayStation 4 Slim in red colour! The PlayStation 4 Slim bundle will have a 1TB console, a red DualShock 4, a copy of Spider-Man, as well as The City That Never Sleeps DLC. Around Europe, several 500GB/1TB bundles will also arrive that will contain the game’s disc and either one or two DualShock 4s.
The PlayStation 4 Pro variant, however, which will contain the PlayStation 4 Pro, a similarly red DualShock 4, the game’s disc, and other „additional bonus content,”, will cost 400 USD in the United States, and possibly 400 euros in Western Europe. All the PlayStation 4 bundles will launch the same day as Spider-Man.
Spider-Man will arrive on September 7, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
