Seeing the success of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, we’re not surprised to see it receive a VR version.
We could be disappointed to an extent, though – Ninja Theory, who now belongs to Microsoft, already abandons Sony. Going by their announcement, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice VR Edition is only coming to the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive, with no word about a PlayStation VR version. The VR version, which will launch on July 31, will be added to your Steam library for free if you already own the base game. This is a fair offer.
At least the PlayStation 4 is receiving something, too: Ninja Theory announced on Twitter that the 1.03 patch has arrived. With it, they fixed bugs (including the NY Gate one), and they also implemented HDR-support, too.
That update is more than nothing, but still, it seems Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is not going to come to the PlayStation VR…
You can now play #Hellblade in glorious HDR on #PlayStation 4! Patch 1.03 is now live with HDR support & various bug fixes – including a fix for the ‘NY’ Gate bug. pic.twitter.com/l2WZv7NQmP
