Mark Darrah, Anthem‘s executive producer revealed a few new details on Twitter about BioWare‘s next game.
Darrah is interested in implementing PvE for more than four people, but it’s not going to be available at Anthem’s launch. The Javelins (the exosuits) are not unlocked in a fixed order, and during combat, your health will not regenerate – you will have to use drops for that -, only your armour will do so.
In the endgame, you must do different activities to achieve different things, and Anthem will display your statistics at the end of each mission. Guns with scopes will also be part of the game, and despite changing your character cosmetically, its hitbox will not change. You will get hit the same way despite the different cosmetic look.
Andrew Wilson, Electronic Arts‘ CEO, also said during the company’s latest financial earnings call the following: „…Our EA Play demo sessions for Anthem were packed from beginning to end, and we’re continuing to see great interest and anticipation from fans wanting to learn more. […]”
Anthem will launch on February 22 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC – there will also be a beta before the game hits the shelves.
