We’ve learned some details about the recently released console versions.
Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and from August 28th the game will be available in physical format retailers as well – the game was originally released in early June for PC (Steam).
The developers revealed that players are able to choose from two graphics settings: Balanced and Quality. The first in theory offers a better performance, while the second offers a better image quality.
On both platforms, the game will run at 1440p max, so give up your 4K dreams. Also, the game will be playable at 1080p. Of course, it may seem like a step backwards from a technological standpoint compared to the studio’s previous game, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter III, because that ran at 4K max. However, Inquisitor is a much more complex and resource-hungry game. It has a high level of environmental destruction, better physics and also improved lighting.
