Valve – after implementing the adult filter into Steam – approves adult games into its system once again, including one sexual visual novel called Negligee: Love Stories, which has been left hanging for months.
Multiple adult-themed games were put on hold as Valve hasn’t been approving them for a long time, and already accepted titles weren’t getting updates for this reason as well. Last week, we wrote about how Valve implemented more filters for Steam. With them, you can filter gory, violent, or sexual games, and Gabe Newell‘s company encourages (and doesn’t enforce) the developers’ games that are affected by such filters to write a short description for their titles.
With this move, the months-long issue between Valve and the developers is over. In the early days of Summer, Gabe Newell‘s storefront asked the devs to censor their games, or they might be pulled from Steam altogether. After this request was pulled, they defined trolling, and the adult filters were implemented.
Although the filter is apparently active here, we got an error message visiting the page that says we should log in. Although this message hides the game, the line for Steam is still drawn at direct pornography.
