The game, which seems to be a backfired experiment (and thus, critically rated lowly) by Square Enix, might be worthy of a second playthrough with this update.
It indeed arrived a week after the game’s launch on PlayStation 4 and PC, and during our second playthrough, we get to hear sounds and speech, as well as receive subtitles in twenty-nine languages. The story’s synopsis sounds weird: „The story will bring light to the truth, and maybe even uproot the mystery that was thought to have been solved as if to say, „I knew nothing at all…” The first version that threw words away. The second version that brought words back in. A story dramatically transformed. This is the completed experience. And so, with everyone, I want to ask this: can we be strong to say we do not need words, even if we have them? In a world overflowing with words, can we find something beyond them?”
The Quiet Man‘s unusuality is underlined by this description, too. However, how many people will play the game for the second time if the first impression was far from what we could call „good?”
