Square Enix has created a fifty-minute documentary for Tomb Raider‘s heroine.
The situation is a bit complicated, as currently, we only have a French version of Square Enix‘ short film, and there are no subtitles/captions for the video (unless we use machine translation…), but still, it’s worth to talk about the video called „Lara Croft: An Evolution Of An Icon.”
Since 1996, a lot of time has passed, and we have gone through three console generation changes, and Lara, who initially was quite blocky (and big-breasted), even got two films since with Angelina Jolie, and a third one is also in progress, featuring Alicia Vikander. She became one of the characters of Sony’s console (but we believed that Crash was the mascot of PlayStation, just as how Mario is Nintendo’s, and Sonic is SEGA’s, respectively).
To find a middle road, we looked for an English video with a similar subject, and, interestingly, we found a different one with the same title, although it is only ten minutes long. We should request Square Enix to dub the video and make subtitles for the original French short film!
