The bear doesn’t have luck at all…

Previously, we wrote about how Winnie the Pooh, as well as the Hundred Acre Wood, would both be part of Kingdom Hearts III, whose development was wrapped up this week. However, we have to take a turn back to the bear, as he will be censored in China. The subject showed up on Reddit, quoting a Chinese news article, which has been deleted since for some reason, but there are images to show the differences. So, why will Winnie the Pooh be censored?

The first secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, the paramount leader of China, Xi Jinping (who at the moment will be the leader for life), doesn’t like when he is compared to Winnie the Pooh on the Chinese social media! Thus, the Chinese censors only allow Square Enix‘ game with a little, albeit hugely ridiculous, modification… and that’s not all! A movie this year, Christopher Robin, was also not allowed to enter into the country, as several memes showed up that compared Xi to Winnie the Pooh.
