Sam Fisher might get more involvement than being a guest in Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
Regarding Splinter Cell, we have heard from Yves Guillemot, the CEO of Ubisoft, that they have not forgotten about Sam Fisher, but at the end of the day, they didn’t announce anything during their E3 press conference. However, if we can believe Geoff Keighley’s, the host/runner of The Game Awards, tweet video, we might expect something to happen.
„Every year I enjoy the creative process of personally editing a teaser/hype video for The Game Awards. Here’s what I put together this year. It’s not meant to tease, just celebrate how much this industry means to me. Hope you’ll join us Thursday as we walk between worlds,” Keighley wrote. Why is it important?
In the video below, we can see clips from Splinter Cell, or, to be more exact, a few frames from Sam Fisher‘s appearance in Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Why else would Ghost Recon be involved in this teaser video if not because of Sam Fisher? (We will be shocked if Ubisoft ends up announcing a new Ghost Recon game at The Game Awards, though!)
The Game Awards will start on December 6, 5:30 PM Pacific / 8:30 PM Eastern, or December 7, 1:30 AM UK / 2:30 AM CET.
