Another possible announcement at The Game Awards.
Eurogamer thinks that the event (which does get mentioned a lot nowadays, which makes sense due to the cancellation of PlayStation Experience) might have yet another announcement from Activision who owns the Crash and Spyro IPs. Hollie Bennet, a presenter at PlayStation Access, published a photo on Twitter that shows two cubes with orange fur, something that you’d put on the rear mirror in a car. The message from Anonymous says „Sliding into [The] Game Awards on 6/12.”
Crash Team Racing came out in 1999 on PlayStation – Naughty Dog created a go-kart game from the IP after the platformer trilogy. It was successful enough to get a sequel. It’s possible that Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy’s example happens again: the CTR remaster could be a one-year exclusive on PlayStation 4, and then it would be released on Xbox One, PC, and maybe the Nintendo Switch as well.
We’ll see in a few days. However, PlayStation LifeStyle thinks that the game could be out as early as June 21 (!), due to the numbers on the dices…
