MOVIE NEWS – There’s no turning back now: we have a Batman.
The rumor was confirmed this Friday. Robert Pattison will slip into the black jumpsuit of the superhero to embody the title role of The Batman. Warner Studios has signed a contract with the actor for the filming of the film which will be directed by Matt Reeves – the director of Cloverfield and The Planet of the Apes: The Clash.
According to Variety, the pre-production of the feature film is expected to begin this summer and an exit to the US screens is already planned for June 25, 2021.

In January, Ben Affleck who played Batman in Batman c. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Justice League has announced that it will not take over this role in this new project.
Robert Pattinson, 33 years old, will find the world of blockbusters him who, after the release of the fourth installment of the saga “Twilight” in 2012 had devoted to the author films and more independent works. He directed, among others, David Cronenberg (Cosmopolis, Map to the Stars), James Gray (The Lost City of Z) and Claire Denis (High Life).
