Six Free Batman Games!?

Something like this has possibly never happened before: no less than six Batman titles can now be picked up for free…

So, six Batman games, which will all be available for grabs until next Thursday (which should be September 26). The list of games speaks for itself: Batman: Arkham Asylum – Game of the Year Edition, Batman: Arkham City – Game of the Year Edition, and Batman: Arkham Knight (which had its Denuvo removed – the DRM also played a role in the game’s terrible initial performance, which is why it was recalled and then re-released…). These games form the Batman Arkham Collection. The other three games: LEGO Batman: The Videogame, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. These titles are part of the LEGO Batman Trilogy.

These six games (or two trilogies, although we miss WB Montreal’s Batman: Arkham Origins from the Arkham Collection, whose titles were developed by Rocksteady – both studios are silent about their next game at the moment…) can be picked up over on the Epic Games Store – their blog post reveals that they celebrate 80 years of Batman with this move. You have to do the usual: get an Epic Games account, then add the games to your library either from your browser or via the Epic Games Launcher. (However, the Epic Games Store still lacks key functions, such as reviews or a forum…)

We can also tell you what the next freebies will be on the Epic Games Store from September 26 – yes, we used the plural there. The first game is David OReilly’s Everything, but that’s not everything, as the other game will be 4A Games’ Metro: 2033 Redux, so if you didn’t get it via Steam or GOG yet, you can do so now.

Obligatory chorus: have fun.
